The beef we sell is different and so is the way we operate. We are proud of that and want you to understand what sets us apart from the competition.
Our meat is 100% grass-fed, pasture raised beef from beginning to end.
The health benefits of grass-fed beef are only achieved when you consume meat from animals raised on pasture.
Our meat is 100% locally sourced from small, family run ranches
Our ranchers run 1 cow per 5 to 40 acres to ensure that each animal has adequate grass to graze. The ranch lives in balance with nature in a symbiotic relationship. The beef you get in grocery stores, on the otherhand, comes from feedlots where they manage thousands of head of cattle on a relatively small plot of land. Animals are packed together in tight quarters where they are forced to stand in their own manure all day.
Our meat is 100% locally processed.
We only purchase one cow at a time.
As a result, we can guarantee the quality and assure you that our ground beef all came from the same cow. Did you know that the ground beef you buy in the grocery store is a conglomeration of multiple cows and often times multiple processing plants? This "frankenmeat" has a high risk of eColi infection.
Our meat is dry aged, broken down into retail cuts and then frozen to preserve freshness.
We don't gas pack our meats, inject them with preservatives or let them sit out in a display case for days on end like your average grocery store.
