At Brick House Farms we believe that you should have access to locally grown, farm fresh foods. Pastured Devon Beef, Heritage Poultry & Red Wattle Pigs.
We strive to provide a family friendly farm that is environmentally friendly, humane in treatment of our animals and practice sound animal husbandry, while providing fresh food for our family and yours.
Many of our animals are listed by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy (albc.com).
We also offer multiple varieties of heirloom vegetables in the summer. Our varieties include tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, sweet peppers, eggplants, squash, peas, beans, cantelopes, watermelons, okra, pumpkins and gourds. Some of the types are as follows: Amish Paste, Cherokee Purple, and Rienstruben tomatoes, Contender beans, Dark Red Kidney beans, Alderman Telephone Peas, Straight 8 Cucumbers, Moon & Stars watermelon, Blacktail Mountain watermelon, Planters Jumbo and Minnesota Midget cantelopes. These aren't all the varieties we plan to offer but it will give you an idea of what's to come. These are not genetically modified foods. Many of the animals and vegetables are listed in the Slow Food Ark of Taste (slowfoodusa.org).
